Giving the devil no Opportunity” : by Brother Michael
The scriptures plainly tell
us in the kjv bible, “give no place to the devil” we are not to give him not even an inch of leeway
into our lives.when we do we find ourselves in a life changing way. The bible tells us that the
devil walks around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. people become easy targets,
when they are not being led by the Holy Spirit. when they are not led by the Spirit on a day to
day bases. Galatians 5:16 says Walk in the Spirit,and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
the word of God tells us to pray without ceasing, praying always with all prayer and supplication
in the Spirit.praying also for another.keep praising God,thanking Him, asking Him to put a hedge
of protection around you your loved one ,your finances ,even your vehicles, and of course pray
that God will put a hedge of protection around our friends and families.if we take the time to pray
and read our bibles, we will have much more strength to resist all the schemes of the devil.
Amen? the devil has many tricks up his sleeve to try and distract you so you will let your
guard down,and become his prey,and to cause you to sin.the way to stand against the devil and
all his schemes is found in Ephesians 6: 11-18. people nowadays do not take the time to study
God’s word and read what it says concerning how to have victory over satan and his demons,
because lets admit it, people are to preoccupied with thve cares of this life to pray to the Father
and study His word,or to witness to help bring others into the kingdom. they work all the time,
and by the time they get home all they feel like doing is watching tv ,eat dinner and go to
bed.and many spend all there free time on there cell phones.see the devil keeps some of us so
busy with the cares of this life ,we do not have the time to read our bibles pray and seek God.
but let something bad happen, and we call out to God ,Help us Lord ! tIme is so short,we all
know it, and we can feel that life as we know it is about to change. How can we be watching for
Christ return, when we are so busy doing what we want to do? In the book of Luke 21:26-36 so
again I ask how can we be watching for our Lord’s return,when we are to busy doing what we
want? May I say, when the Lord does come back alot of us are going to be ashamed because
we forgot all about Him.we had no time for our Father, we just went about doing our own thing.
when that day comes and the Lord returns what are you going to say to Him ? How will you feel
knowing He is disappointed in you? The bible says in Matt 7:21 not everyone who says unto
me Lord Lord will enter into the Kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father
which is in heaven. brothers and sisters, the hour is late, I believe we are the generation who
will witness the coming of the Lord. God is telling us it is time to get our lives cleaned up,repent
and serve Him, to seek His face and pray and ask, what will you have me to do. you can
witness to others,it's called planting seed. God will take care of the rest. but first repent and ask
Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart and be lord of your life from here on
out. get baptized, Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life, no man cometh
unto the Father but by me.John 3:5
except a man is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God. the only way
to do that is to come through Jesus . If you would like accept the Lord Jesus into your heart do
it now, don't put it off another day for we know not what tomorrow will bring.life is so uncertain
Jesus gave His life for the sins of the world, don't you think we should take this free gift from
